I personally do not find anything wrong with a mamma's boy if the mamma is nice to me. If she's nice talk 2 times a day, anything above that might be a little too close for comfort. You can tell how a man treats you, by the way he treats their mother so you better hope their close!

A guy should talk to his mom at least every month or so to see how she is doing. It shows that he is caring, loving and sweet.

-If he is on the phone with her every single day and MORE than he is on the phone with you, then maybe he should definately cut it down.
-It's cute to see a momma's boy, but one that is GROWN, sophisticated and has style.

I think it's adorable when a guy has a good relationship with his mother. If a guy treats his mother well then more often than not he'll treat you well. In my book it's normal to talk to your mother once a day... twice if it's an exceptionally good/bad day. Anything more than that is just obsessive and annoying and makes you look like a TOTAL mamma's boy.

A man who knows how to treat his mom, knows how to treat a woman with respect. As long as his mom's opinions don't affect our relationship directly, he can talk to her as much as he wants.

Probably up to three times a week. More than that its a starting indication that he's a mama's boy.

Some major signs that he is a mama's boy : getting money from his mom, going home for her to do his laundry, and constantly getting advice from his mom rather then trusting one's own instincts or using other resources. Also he doesn't try to figure out the things on his own.

To sum it all up, basically needing mom's input in small or big life decisions / situations all the time !
